How it all began..

Ok.. So, it's not really how it all began, but for readers it's the beginning of the story. :)  This was the engagement photo that our awesome photgrapher & great friend Kelly Trimble took at the local airport when Zach arrived from being deployed for 7 months overseas. Zach is in the air force, but he's from here and we've known each other since high school. The engagement was unexpected but it was such an amazing surprise -- especially since EVERYONE knew it was about to happen except for me!! It was insane - news reporters, airmen seeing babies for the first time, flags & the Patriot Guard greeters, and... all of our family & a few friends. The neatest thing about this picture is that the man in the background is my grandad.. who is now suffering with Alzheimers disease. What a wonderful memory.
