Birthday Weekend!

So, last Saturday was my birthday and Zach's dad invited Zach to go on a pheasant hunt with a group of Bruckner's guys in Plainview. Well, at first I was a little sad but then it occured to me - I can spend the day in Lubbock! It was great. :)

Soo.. while Zach was doing that, I was doing this:

My best friend Kasey had her baby the night before! His name is Collier. And he's a handsome little guy. With lots & lots of hair!

Ok -- do you see this?? Kasey went to Texas so Collier has this hat on. But check out his hand - he definitely knows what he's supposed to be doing since he was born only a block away from Tech campus! Kase & JB weren't too excited about this picture but I loved it.. Wreck 'Em!

The funny part about this day is that not only was Collier born the day before my birthday, it was Kasey's birthday too! And her brother Ty's. And Mabry's is next. So there were gifts for all of us to open. :)

So after the hospital visit, we for sure had to go shopping. And my friend Heather came along. :) But you can't even imagine what the mall looked like with all the Christmas shoppers! It was insane. But the best part was seeing all the women in all stores while ALL the husbands stood outside the stores. Here is mine. Haha!

We shopped & then we went back to the prettiest hotel in LBK. The Overton! And we were on the 15th floor, with the private lounge overlooking the Christmas-lit campus. A nice glass of wine & an amazing view with my husband...Happy birthday to ME!!

The night just kept getting better. To top off the day, we met friends for dinner at Lujan's, which everyone knows is my FAVORITE restaurant in west Texas!! Then we went out with my friends Elizabeth & Logan and Nikki & Derrik.

SO MUCH FUN.

To sum it all up, this was one of the best birthdays ever!
