Life is so busy.
Gahh. Haven't been on this thing in forever, clearly! Thought I'd reminisce by looking at old posts. My, how life has changed since my last post. As for our family today, I'm sitting on the couch, drinking some coffee, looking at Hattie & Darla sleeping on this rainy day, and listening to the sound of beach waves playing on the Mamaroo while my precious girl is trying to fall asleep for a nap. {Please excuse that major run-on sentence!} We have been so incredibly blessed the last two years. We went from being in a new town, in a new state, with new jobs. Now we absolutely love our town, love our jobs, and are becoming more and more apt to loving our state. :) We have found the church home we love and have made friends there who have been there to share life with us. They are amazing. Not to mention five months ago they were flooding our house with meals upon meals upon more food, love, and support. How blessed we were to have our baby in this great place! Through the last five months, we have seen so many new phases as new parents. This girl is -SPECIAL-!! I don't know how one could be so abundantly blessed. Kate Landry is our biggest blessing. We loved and snuggled those newborn days, went through some crying bouts during growth spurts, and now we are learning the colorful and fun-loving personality that is becoming of her! She lights up everyone. Always smiling, always laughing, and definitely always talking. That's the one thing she got from her Momma. Her looks clearly come from Daddy! I'm loving being a stay at home Momma and am once again, blessed, to be able to see the developmental changes and all the 'firsts' that I'm getting to see being at home! Well, looks like my girl has fallen asleep.. So now it's time for this Momma to get some chores done. And prepare for dinner. On the menu for tonight is roasted broccoli, pesto grilled chicken, & 'Red chile & cilantro linguine'! This pasta -- I have been waiting to try it with the perfect dish! It comes from Gourmet Texas Pasta in Austin. Yay for flavored pasta! {If you've never been to Seattle you MUST go to the market and sample all of their bizarre and delicious flavored pasta!} Ok, onto the day's work. Love to all on this rainy Wednesday!
